Mission Statement
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20)
We are motivated by love to follow the Great Commission of our Commander and Chief from glory, Jesus the Christ. We have not been confined to methodology concerning our mission, but we have been consecrated to our Lord's will to fulfill our mission. Every member of this branch of Zion is call to "go" not in selection but in obedience to the Lord, for the last, least, and lost of our world. We will strive with all that is in us to bring to fruition the charge we have received to "make disciples" of all we encounter, particularly at home first and then abroad. Finally we understand that if we don't know we are not equipped to "go." Therefore, we commit ourselves to faithful study of the Word of God in order to "rightly divide the Word of God" for human edification and ultimately God's glorification.
Vision Statement
We the people of God affectionately know as the Zion Baptist Church, will seek with our whole heart to implement a holistic ministry that is inclusive of gender, surrendered to the Lordship of Jest the Christ, and governed by the "Word of God" and not the "philosophies" of men. Furthermore, we are committed to "walk by faith and not by sight" (2 Cor. 5:7) because we are convinced the God is able to perform everything He has promised. Finally, we believe that God has called us to be a light in this dark age (Matt. 5:16) in order to point lost men, women, and youth toward the kingdom of God via a maturing relationship with Jesus Christ.
